Scott leads Green Star BCS’s EMEA business. He is a Managing Director with over 20 years of experience in the downstream and petrochemical industry. He spent the initial phase of his career as a process engineer and supply chain optimizer in ExxonMobil's European refining and petrochemicals system. More recently as a consultant (Wood Mackenzie and Strategy&), he advised lenders, governments, and asset owners on key questions linked to their decarbonization strategies. Scott has led technical, market and commercial diligence assignments on a wide range of low-carbon molecule topics including: HEFA SAF; PtL pathways; sustainable chemicals; renewable marine fuels; pyrolysis; gasification; and biofuels. His client engagements also include policy advice to governments on balancing energy supply security, costs, and carbon intensity.
Scott is based in London.
